Commodities Buzz: Marginal Increase In Gold Net Speculative Long Positions

Precious metals speculators recorded a slight increase in their net long positions in the Gold futures markets, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Gold futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 202891 contracts in the data reported through April 23, 2024, up 968 contracts from the previous week. The net speculative longs are lingering in a tight range for last one month.
